Preparing!

That is right...I am preparing for Rylann's first birthday bash! I cannot believe in 2 months she will be a one year old!!!! It's so bittersweet! I am having a blast planning her party though, the theme will be Busy Bee because she is our little busy bee of course! She never stops moving, and I mean never...even when she is asleep she is rolling all over the place. So about this party... I am going to hand make a lot of the decorations, including her party hat which will be made this weekend my me and Addy. Her highchair decorations will be made by me, her banner which I am going to make a 12 month picture collage of her as the banner, I MIGHT make a hanging bee hive to hang over the cake(s). I'm debating or not on making the cakes myself or having someone do it. The cakes will be in the shape of bee hives so not sure I have the skills. lol  Her outfit is the biggest deal!!! I got her a black pettiskirt and it is adorable! I want to add some pink and yellow ribbon to it. I will have her in a yellow top with a black and pink flower clipped onto it.

         I was thinking bee hives or honey dippers to hold the ribbon up..suggestions?

I want a big cake like this and a identical one with the number 1 on top for her smash cake!

Hello, My name is Sarah, I am what you call an aspiring photographer. I am also a mother of 3 amazing children (Addison, Max and Rylann) and married to my best friend, David. I'm currently in school for my degree in Fine Arts because I want to be a professional photographer. It is extremely rewarding to me to catch a memory on a photo. Although I'm semi-new at this, I've been practicing for years on catching photos of my children.
